We need some luck if we are to see and photograph snow-covered dunes on the 3000-metre high Puna Plateau in Argentina. This happens during Argentina's summer after an unusual break in the weather: snow falls during the night and in the morning a magnificent white expanse is to be seen on the dunes. However, it will take the sun only about an hour to melt it all away.
But even if we are out of luck, this destination still offers a unique travel experience. We can enjoy a fantastic panorama and will have innumerable enchanting scenes to discover and photograph.
